Omnitec Solutions is a Bethesda, Maryland-based company which describes itself as a "technology services firm providing management, information technology, and technical solutions to commercial and government clients."[1]

On its website, Omnitec Solutions states that "we currently support all branches of the military, several civilian agencies, intelligence community, and a variety of commercial clients."[1]

It states on its website that it "We have developed and are maintaining the most critical DoD [Department of Defense] websites including www.navy.mil, www.pentagonchannel.mil, www.americasupportsyou.mil, www.news.navy.mil, www.af.mil, www.defendamerica.mil, and www.defenselink.mil."[2]

Omnitec states that both the Navy's website and the Air Force's website "use Content Management Systems we designed and developed to allow personnel to submit news stories, images, video, audio and other text from around the world." It also boasts that it also provides support for "the official DoD Web site for news about the War on Terrorism (http://www.defendamerica.mil), and The Pentagon Channel (http://www.pentagonchannel.mil), which broadcasts military news and information for the 2.6 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces through its programming."[3]

It also states that America Supports You (http://www.americasupportsyou.mil) is another critically important Web site OMNITEC manages. Also known as “ASY,” this is a nationwide program launched by the DoD to recognize citizens' support for our military men and women and communicate that support to members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad."[3]
