Operation Homefront is a 501c3 "national nonprofit that provides emergency support and morale to our military troops, the families they leave behind during deployment and wounded warriors when they return home," its website states. [1]

"Operation Homefront also operates CinCHouse.com, the largest web-based magazine and community for military wives and women in uniform," its website states. However, the CinCHouse.com link was not available August 14, 2006.

In October 2006 the U.S. Department of Defense's America Supports You program formalized a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Operation Homefront. the The MOU stated that "The Department of Defense recognizes that the goals of Operation Homefront are consistent with DoD's America Supports You program in its efforts to support military members and their families." The department also agreed to inform service members about Operation Homefront's operations. [1]
