Patricia Sullivan is a board member of the Ploughshares Fund. She was also a staff member of the Natural Resources Defense Council (where she still serves as Deputy Director), she was closely involved with one of Ploughshares’ early successes, the funding of the collaboration between NRDC and the Soviet Academy of Sciences to prove that underground nuclear tests could be detected, and that a test ban treaty could be verified. In addition to working to protect the planet, she is an advisory director of the Metropolitan Opera. She is a graduate of Harvard College. [1]
