Paul Beckner

Paul Beckner was president and chief executive officer of Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE), from 1991 until June 2004 when Matt Kibbe, who was executive vice president since 1996, took over that position. Paul Beckner left CSE to become a senior vice president of Silk Lintott, Inc.

As CSE President, Beckner was paid $158,360 in 2002, according to the Internal Revenue Service return for CSE's sister organisation, the Citizens for a Sound Economy Educational Foundation. [1]

In 2003, George W. Bush nominated Beckner to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations for a two-year term.

He has Co-Chaired the Coalition for a Balanced Budget and headed the Legal Reform Coalition.
