Before joining Forum for the Future "in 2009, I led international work on humane and sustainable animal agriculture at the World Society for the Protection of Animals, delivering projects, training programmes and awareness campaigns in Asia and Latin America, particularly in China and Brazil. For a long time I was a political campaigner, and am a former Director of Campaigns for the Liberal Democrats. But I actually started out in life with my head in the stars as a research astronomer!"
