Peter Ainsworth, was a Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the British Conservative Party. He represents the constituency of East Surrey. [1]

Ainsworth has been opposed to the UK National Identity Cards Scheme as well as against the war in Iraq. Furthermore, Ainsworth has voiced concern over the the idea of introducing Student Top-Up Fees. [2]
