As a Bishop, Forster is entitled to sit in the upper house of the British legislature where he has made his views known in the context of policy making. He claimed to be a “scientist in a previous incarnation”, and that climate change would happen “come what may”. He disputes the scientific consensus on climate change.
He is an advisor to the Campaign to Repeal the Climate Change Act ( repealtheact.org.uk )
In November 2003 The Bishop of Chester was interviewed by Police over suggestions he made that gay people should seek medical help to reorientate their sexuality.
