Political donor network

A political donor network is an unregulated organization created to use 'soft' campaign money by taking advantage of a loophole in the new McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform law.

The list of donor networks appears has undergone a growth spurt since the passage of McCain-Feingold in 2002. Although political donor networks existed prior to McCain-Feingold, their numbers are increasing with a few of these organizations now clearly identified.
