"Rajan Anandan is an active angel investor in India, Sri Lanka and the US. Rajan focuses on early stage investments in internet, mobile and software. "Rajan's professional career has spanned across high technology and management consulting. Rajan is currently the Managing Director of Google India. In this role he is the Vice President responsible for Google's Sales and Operations in India. Prior to Google, Rajan was the Managing Director of Microsoft India where he was responsible for Microsoft’s Sales, Marketing and Services Group in India. Microsoft in India is a billion dollar business and is the largest software company in India. Under Rajan’s leadership Microsoft became the highest performing subsidiary for Microsoft in the Large Emerging Markets in 2009. During his tenure Microsoft launched its Cloud Services portfolio across all three layers of the cloud: saas, paas and iaas and quickly became the leading Cloud Services provider in India.

"Prior to joining Microsoft Rajan was a Vice President with Dell Inc. Rajan joined Dell as the Executive Assistant to Chairman Michael Dell. He then held several global leadership roles in Dell International Services. Rajan was also the Vice President and Country General Manager of Dell India where he grew the Dell business from $250million to over $800 million and made Dell into the lead ing player among corporates in India. Prior to joining Dell, Rajan was a Partner with McKinsey & Company in Chicago. At McKinsey he worked with companies across a broad range of industries including technology, industrial and business services.
