Riad Malki "is Director General of Panorama, the Center for the Dissemination of Democracy and Community Development. A core team member of Palestinian Second Track Diplomacy, he is a member of the Arab Council of Jerusalem, Orient House, the Palestine National Council (PNC), the Palestinian National Dialogue Team, the Athens Dialogue (Palestinians PNC & Israeli knesset members from the coalition), and Vice President of the Palestinian Council of Justice and Peace. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of The World Movement for Democracy, the Palestinian delegation to the Final Status Negotiations, and the Arab-Israeli Peace Alliance.

"Riad Malki has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Application of Artificial Intelligence, and an M.Sc. in Transportation, Planning, and Engineering from Polytechnic University, New York, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Javeriana, Colombia.

"Formerly Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Bir Zeit University, Jerusalem (1993-1996), Mr. Malki is the founder and Director of Rimal Engineering Consultancy Group. As a civil engineer, he has undertaken numerous projects and surveys related to transportation, urban planning, infrastructure and the environment in Israel and Palestine. He is Special Advisor on Planning and Development to the president of Al-Quds University, Jerusalem." [1]
