Rob Zerban, a Wisconsin businessperson, ran against Paul Ryan for U.S. Congress in 2012.[1] Zerban lost to Ryan who was able to keep his seat in Wisconsin's First Congressional district despite losing the race as Mitt Romney's running-mate. [2] There was also controversy over the fact that Ryan refused to debate Zerban during the campaign.[3]
