Sadiqa Salahuddin (Pakistan) "is known for her capacity building efforts for grassroots civil society initiatives, their networks, district governments, provincial NGO networks and large NGOs. She participates in policy fora such as provincial steering committee on education for all; Provincial Task Force on Poverty Alleviation; Steering Committee of Asian Development Bank-supported Sindh Rural Development Plan; member of Advisory Board on Women Development of the Federal Ministry on Women Development; Board of Governors of organisations that are of vital significance such as Asian Development Bank' supported Micro-finance Bank (civil society representative), World Bank supported Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, and Strengthening Participatory Organisations (support organisation worked with more than 900 Community Based Organisations). She is one of the founding members of a well-respected NGO focusing on capacity building and empowerment of marginalised communities of rural Pakistan.

"She works as a consultant in the fields of organisational assessment, management reviews, evaluation of development work, and strategic planning. As a guest speaker on challenges of development in Pakistan, she has lectured at the University of the South at Sewanee, TN, USA. She has been a member of official delegation on Social Summit in Copenhagen and Beijing + 5 UN Conference in New York. As a resource person, she has contributed in numerous training programmes within the country and internationally and is a member of CIVICUS Board for the last three years." [1]
