Sander R. Gerber is CEO and CIO of Hudson Bay Capital Management LP in New York, "founded in late 2005 with substantial partners’ capital from the established proprietary trading business of Gerber Asset Management LLC. Hudson Bay Capital currently operates two multi-strategy hedge funds: Hudson Bay Fund LP & Hudson Bay Overseas Fund Ltd."[1]

"Gerber founded Gerber Asset Management in 1997 and with the formation of Hudson Bay Capital Management LLC, has folded Gerber’s trading activities into the new firm. Gerber began his career in investment management as an equity options market maker on the American Stock Exchange in 1991. In 1997 he founded Gerber Asset Management LLC. In 2000 Gerber founded the XTF group of companies initially focused on exchange traded funds arbitrage, and then expanded them into cost-efficient portfolios of ETFs.

"Gerber is an honors graduate of the Wharton School and College at the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Finance and Humanistic Philosophy. He has served as a member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's National Board of Director since June 2004. In June 2005, Gerber was sent by President Bush to represent the United States at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Conference on Anti-Semitism and Other Intolerances in Cordoba. In February 2006, the President appointed Gerber to be a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars where he sits on the Investment Management Committee."[1]
