"Serco has been awarded two rotary support contracts by AgustaWestland, valued at a total of £18m.

"The contracts involve the provision of engineering and technical support on the Apache AH Mk 1 platform, a key part of the Army’s Air Assault Brigade, and the MoD’s fleet of Sea King helicopters." [2]

"International service company Serco has been selected preferred bidder for two home affairs contracts in Australia.

"The contracts are to manage and operate Borallon Correctional Centre in Queensland and to provide safety camera services across Victoria.
"Borallon Correctional Centre, near Brisbane, accommodates 500 male prisoners. The contract with the Queensland Department of Corrective Services is due to start in January 2008 and is valued at around Aus$100 million over five years, with the potential for a further five years extension...
"Serco already operates Acacia prison near Perth, Western Australia; one prison in Germany and four prisons, a young offenders institution and a secure training centre in the UK. Serco also provides a range of safety camera services in the UK." [3]

2006

"A joint venture led by Serco Group plc (“Serco”) has been selected as preferred bidder for the Ministry of Defence’s (“MoD”) Future Provision of Marine Services (“FPMS”) contract.

"The contract is valued at £1bn over 15 years. Serco Denholm Limited (“Serco Denholm”), a 90:10 joint venture between Serco Limited and J&J Denholm, will deliver marine support at major UK Naval bases in Portsmouth, Devonport and The Clyde. 2005

"Serco Group plc ("Serco") today announces that its joint venture with Sodexho Alliance has renewed and expanded its contract with the Australian Defence Force to deliver garrison support services to defence bases, in the Sydney South West region of New South Wales. The contract is worth up to $Aus200million (c£84million) to Serco over a term of up to nine years." [6]
