Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) include HIV/AIDS,Pelvic Inflammitory Disease (PID), Bacterial Vaginosis (BV,) Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Infection (genital warts), Chlamydia, Syphilis, Genital Herpes (Herpes Simplex Virus HSV), Trichomoniasis and Gonorrhea.
Behavioral modification (e.g. practice of "safe sex") is a key to the prevention of STDs.
