Sludge Facts, according to its website, contains "scientific information concerning public health and environmental risks associated with land-applying recycled waste products, including processed sewage sludges (biosolids) containing potentially hazardous chemical and biological wastes. ... This website is owned and operated by Citizens for Sludge-Free Land (CSFL) which is solely responsible for its content. CSFL is a state-chartered, not for profit organization. Its mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate scientific information about the risks of land applying sludges and to advocate regulatory reform that protects public health, agriculture, and the environment. [1]
