The Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC) is a grassroots coalition of student and youth groups, whose aim is to protect the environment and create progressive social change both locally and globally. SEAC was formed in 1988 at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Since then the organization has grown to include hundreds of junior high school, high school, college, and community groups throughout the United States and Canada.
