"Susan Buck brings myriad resources from business and civic experience. She served five years on the board of directors of New York City's Sunnyside Gardens Community Association (est. 1926) organizing, fundraising, recruiting volunteers, contracting with staff and vendors, and overseeing major capital improvement. She also served two years as board secretary/newsletter editor for a network of social clubs chartered by the American Motorcyclist Association.

"After a decade in print production, she transitioned to photojournalism and spent twelve years in the motorcycle industry, including four years as editor of the monthly newspaper Thunder Press (1996-2000). In 2003, she received the Motorcycle Riders Foundation's Thomas Paine award for outstanding written advocacy.

"Not only an award-winning journalist, her photography combines journalistic and neo-psychedelic artistic styles, resulting in surreal, experiential truth. She has been documenting CoSM since 2006, and taken an active role in all aspects of general management and event production. susanbuck.net"[1]
