This is just notification that I had originally created a new section on the Climategate controversy here[1], since it wasn't being addressed. I then found out this page existed, and merged my previous writing into this one. I am also doing research as I go along on a timeline of major events related to this. --Jzyehoshua 21:08, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

I removed a number of internal and external articles/resources that appeared unrelated to Climategate, replacing them as best I could with alternatives. Additionally, a New York Times article was referenced as a source for the statement at the end of the lede, but I could find no mention of the person mentioned in the paragraph. I removed the source and have placed a citation needed tag. I will wait a while to see if someone can find a source for this before I consider removing it. --Jzyehoshua 04:03, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

I found this source recently[2] which shows Pachauri did attack Climategate and suggest it was an attempt to discredit the IPCC. However, it doesn't mention this was done to harm it before the global summit, so I'll wait to see if a better source emerges. --Jzyehoshua 04:41, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
