the following unsupported claim is moved from the article:

Tides has less in common with a philanthropy than a money launderer, due to the fact that the vast majority of its donations come from other foundations eager to hide the ultimate destination of their donations. Also, the Tides Foundation has been used by wealthy individual donors, such as John Kerry's wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry, to launder donations to far-left causes while hiding the money transfers from the American public. Tides has been actively laundering donations to radical, leftist groups for a number of years, such as Greenpeace, Mothers & Others for a Livable Planet, and Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Also related is the Tides Center, which funds sometimes-violent and extreme leftist groups behind major anti-capitalism protests.

Tides Foundation and the Kerry's a disgrace

I would agree with what Zardo said. I think Theresa Heinz Kerry and Sen. Kerry are a very spooky concept for the United States of America. The Tide foundation is abusing the great freedoms that living in the United States give. Unfortunately, in this case, these same freedoms allow for Foundations such as the Tide Foundation, to cater to the ignorant and misinformed and those that truly to not love America.
