Tetrabromobisphenol A is a brominated aromatic flame retardant. A study by Duke University found it in camping tents.[1]

One manufacturer of Tetrabromobisphenol A is Great Lakes Solutions, owned by Chemtura Corporation. They sell it under the name BA-59P. ICL Industrial Products sells it under the name FR 1542.[2] It is also sold by Albemarle under the name Saytex RB-100.[3]
