Thandiwe Nkomo

Thandiwe Nkomo "is currently working with Rooftops Canada. Before coming to Canada from Zimbabwe, she was the Executive Director of the Organization of Rural Associations for Progress. ORAP, a membership organization with over 1.3 million members, mobilized rural Zimbabweans around strategies of local self-reliance in the face of macroeconomic restructuring and political oppression. She was a board member of Zimbabwe Election Network (ZESN), Global Partnership between the School for International Training, BRAC and ORAP. Ms. Nkomo was also on the boards of MWENGO and GROOTS. Ms. Nkomo has a Masters Degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School of International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro, Vermont.“ [1]
