Thomas A. Schatz (also known as Tom Schatz) was born in ±1953. Mr. Schatz holds a law degree from George Washington University and was graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a BA degree, With Honors, in Political Science. He spent six years as legislative director for Congressman Hamilton Fish and two years practicing law and lobbying before he joined Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) in 1986. Since 1991, Thomas A. Schatz has been the president of CAGW.
