Trudy Wyse "has worked for over a decade in the philanthropic sector and prior to this worked for local government and with a wide range of community organisations. Over this period she was particularly active in the campaign to build a comprehensive community based child care sector across Victoria.

"Trudy was Executive officer with the Stegley Foundation from 1996 to 2001, during which time she implemented a more proactive and developmental approach to grantmaking that was adopted by the Trustees in the final years of the Foundation’s life. Active partnerships with community organisations, advocacy groups and local government were a major feature of this work.

"In her current role at the Melbourne Community Foundation, Trudy provides advice and support to a range of donors who have philanthropic funds with the Foundation, as well as advising the Foundation on grant making policy and process. She is responsible for several strategic and collaborative funding initiatives designed to tackle issues of systemic disadvantage within Greater Melbourne and beyond." [1]
