Hi Mike,
As always, thank you for your contributions to SW!

I'd like to ask you to tweak the formatting you are using slightly to better agree with SW style. In particular, please begin each article with the name of the person or organization, and put it in boldface type. Also, please use the following format for references: <ref>Centre for Science and Environment [http://www.cseindia.org/node/219 Executive Board], organizational web page, accessed January 11, 2012</ref>

For an example of the format above, see the article you just created on B. D. Dikshit (which I have edited slightly).

Thank you! Anne Landman, Sourcewatch Editor

Hi Mike,
Thanks for adding information on Ralph Bunche, Jr. Please attribute the quote at the beginning of your article to a specific source (e.g., organizational webpage, biosketch, annual report), etc. and add the reference information for the quote. Thanks!

Anne Landman, CMD Editor

Hello Mike, thanks for your addition to the Richard Mellon Scaife page; I've moved it to a subsection under the "affiliations" section. Anna Haynes 15:25, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi Mike,

I hope you don't mind if I redirected the Brigitte Bardot page to her SW foundation page. The page was blank except for one link to her wikipedia bio and a link to that page. I think her foundation work would be most applicable to here anyway.

Thanx! Lisa L. 9/7/2011

openD

Hi Michael; OpenDemo = dodgy organization. The people in the OpenTerror have ties with all sorts of right wing terrorologist groups, especially in Spain. Kind rgds --Antidotto 14:46, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

add to affiliation section

Hi Mike;

You should add the "member of Democratiya" to the Affiliation section...

why article with "sir"

Hi Mike

I avoid using titles for people who dont deserve it... you just entered Sir George... Maybe dropping the Sir?

I hope you are following the Liam Fox scandal...

wrong bunche

Hi Mike

You entered a profile of Bunche, but you seem to be mixing up two people. Ralph Bunch, the diplomat, passed away in 1971.

Also, it would be useful to enter the list of affiliations with a >>>Affiliations<<< subheading.

Thank you

Hi, Mike! I just cleaned up some of the old notes on this page, and wanted to stop by to say something that I think has not been said often enough to you. Thank you for your continuing contributions to this site over the years. I know you've taken some flack, but I wanted to say that I appreciate you sticking with it and also being responsive to Anne's notes.

r2p

Hi Mike;

You created Responsibility to Protect but unfortunately this mixes up the organization with the R2P principle. It would be nice to keep these distinct and separate... I want to create a page that disusses R2P and its many variants.

check this out

what is the point

Hi Mike;

take a look at Gamal Eid -- you just plunked down a paragraph... and it is not even clear that it refers to the person in question. What is the point of using SW as a little notebook for disconnected bitsies of information. I think that unless the information is readable and relevant to others then it shouldnt even be included. And why dont you add and ==Affiliations== section? In some cases you seem to plunk down affilations in articles without even realizing that there already is an affiliations section. Maybe an issue of reading what is there before plunking it down.

hmmm

Hi Mike; You just plunked down DavidP in the Fikra page without (1) paying attention where the other principals are placed in the article (2) I dont think he is the director of Fikra -- if so provide the reference. Kind rgds --Antidotto 23:58, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Michael A. Cohen: why category = human rights? Nothing in his background suggest he is remotely connected to this.

I was cleaning up the human rights category a few days ago, and found many misclassified persons... if the person ISNT working with a HR group, or on HR causes, then he shouldnt be classified thus...

titles...

Hi Mike; Wouldnt it be better to create a article name without the title of the person? Sir David Stirling I sort of dislike these titles, and it makes it difficult toe track these people over time. --Antidotto 17:54, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

alpha sort categories

Hi Mike

Can you alpha sort some of the categories you are entering e.g. human rights? I spent significant amount of time alpha sorting it, only to find that you are adding the unsorted version again.

Also, what is the point of using "human rights" as a category in such a general way -- it loses most of its categorization power. If you have a category with, say 2000, article, then the category is next to useless.
