Combining pages?

Hi Miocene, I've just embarked on a big project to really update the GMOs section of the SW site, as you've noticed. I just came across your page, on Monsanto and RR crops, which I hadn't seen before. I'd like to somehow fold it into the work I'm doing but I don't want to accidentally lose any of the work you've done. I also don't want to have duplicate pages on SW. Gonna give it a try. Let me know what you think. --Jill Richardson 07:04, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi Jill. Not sure where to comment but will go to your talk page. Miocene 18:41, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Monsanto Notable Quotes

Hi, Miocene! I'm Bekah, a researcher and writer at CMD. I noticed that, when you broke out the notable quotes from the Monsanto article talk page, the reference links didn't tag along. Could you please regather them from the history of the talk page and put them in where the unlinked bracketed footnote numbers are? Preferably they would be formatted as ref tags with a reference section created at the bottom. See the guidelines for creating footnotes for more. Thanks! -- Rebekah Wilce, 09:06, 11 May 2012 (CDT), cc: Friday Thorn, our editor

Sorry. I've put them back in. Unfortunately I have to run. Just did some short editing while I had time. Hopefully someone else with more time can reformat with a bottom ref section. Most of the Monsanto series is this way. There are simply too many links to reformat the whole thing (though preferable of course), plus on some of the longer articles adding the sources at the bottom could push the kbs past the 32 recommended. 2007 Note from Bob

Hi, yes it looks like that deletion happened when I was away over Easter and o one else noticed. Sorry about that but I don't think that it warrants protecting the page (which would block most other users from adding to the page). cheers --Bob Burton 08:46, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

Monsanto / nuclear

hi, Miocene,

Thanks for your question re the Nuclear Spin tag on the Monsanto page. Last week, we automatically added a "Nuclear spin" tag to every SourceWatch article that has the word "nuclear" in there twice. On the Monsanto page, "nuclear" is mentioned twice in the history section.

If you think it doesn't make sense to have the tag on the page, feel free to remove it or ask me to. I don't have strong feelings one way or the other on it.

Thanks for your answer. In the past Monsanto was involved with Nuclear Power but I am not aware of any direct connections right now (though I've not really looked). Who knows though. They've got their finger in all kinds of "pies". Anyway, I think for now I'll remove it. Miocene 00:49, 10 June 2008 (EDT)
