Biographical Information

Vaughan Lindsay "joined The Dartington Hall Trust as Chief Executive Officer in 2004 from McKinsey and Company. Vaughan started off in marketing with Procter & Gamble but then spent eleven formative years in the voluntary sector. His first role was with the Kings Fund, an independent health charity. He moved to Shelter, the campaign for homeless people, where he spent 6 years, as a Director, helping to turnaround the fortunes of the organistion and its cause. He then moved to the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) as Deputy Chief Executive. Vaughan then moved back into the private sector working for six years with McKinsey and Company advising blue chip corporations on strategy, marketing and sales. Vaughan is also a Trustee of the School for Social Entreprenuers, The Sheila McKechnie Foundation and a Board member of Exeter Cathedral Enterprises." [1]
