Wendy Greene

Wendy Greene "brings to The Peace Alliance a diverse background in the for-profit, nonprofit, and personal transformation arenas. She served 13 years at the former aerospace company Hughes Electronics Corporation and its subsidiaries (including DIRECTV®), fulfilling a variety of corporate communications and management positions, including Director of Public Relations and Manager of Investor Relations. From 2001 to 2003, she worked at the award-winning Challenge Day organization in roles ranging from Workshop Coordinator to Director of Operations. Prior to joining the Department of Peace campaign in 2004, first as a Congressional District Team Leader and later as a co-State Coordinator, Wendy facilitated transformational seminars with troubled teens in specialty schools. She is currently completing a program to become an Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and serves on the board of directors for Global Partners for Development, a nonprofit organization doing development work in East Africa. Born an “Air Force Brat,” Wendy has family members serving on active duty in both the Air Force and the Marines. She holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)." [1]
