Bill Baldwin "is Chief Executive Officer and President of the Baldwin Resource Group. With over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, he has developed a proven track record as a successful insurance professional and entrepreneur. As founder and president of Baldwin Resource Group, he is a consultant with an emphasis on enterprise risk management. Baldwin helps companies assess public policy issues and how they relate to corporate America. He also consults on financial management decisions concerning mergers and acquisitions. Other areas of expertise include professional liability, disaster preparedness, employment practices liability, strategic, business and marketing planning, as well as organization and human resource development. Industries of focus for Baldwin are health care, hospitality, financial institutions, property management, manufacturing, emergency response and non-profits.

"Prior to founding Baldwin Resource Group, Baldwin was president of the board of the Washington Institute for Policy Studies, an influential Seattle-based conservative think tank (now known as Washington Policy Center). In this role, Baldwin sought to replace government solutions with free-marketplace initiatives. He is still involved with the organization today as director emeritus. Before becoming involved with policy, Baldwin was chairman of Tacoma, Wash.-based insurance brokerage firm Raleigh, Schwarz & Powell.

"Baldwin actively serves on boards and committees of private industry, public policy and educational organizations. He is chairman for the Strategic Planning Committee of IBA West, the largest insurance brokerage association in the nation, covering California, Oregon and Washington, and is advisor to the Strategic Planning Committee for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Washington. Baldwin also was a member of the Baseball Stadium Independent Financial Review Committee and chairman to the City of Sammamish's Planning Advisory Board. He served as committee chairman for the Washington State University School of Hospitality Management. He is a board member of the Discovery Institute, Evergreen Bank, and prior board member of The Foundation for Economic Education, the Washington Council for Private Education, Big Brothers Big Sisters of King County, City Club and Weberize. In the past, Baldwin has been affiliated with the Western Association of Insurance Brokers, the Washington State Insurance Commissioner, the Governor's Hazardous Materials Committee and the Maritime Alliance of the Pacific Northwest.
