CCMP Capital is a private equity firm headquartered in New York, New York, [1] established in 2006[2][3] "CCMP," according to the firm's website, stands for "Chemical Ventures, Chase Capital, Manufacturers Hanover Capital, Partners."[2] The website also states that CCMP Capital "specializes in making buyout and growth equity investments in the united States and Europe."[4]

Ties to Pete Peterson's "Fix the Debt"

The Campaign to Fix the Debt is the latest incarnation of a decades-long effort by former Nixon man turned Wall Street billionaire Pete Peterson to slash earned benefit programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid under the guise of fixing the nation's "debt problem."
