CCC was established in 1951 by Bill Bright and his wife at UCLA. In 1958 it began to spread internationally,

Organisation
CCC currently has 27,000 staff and 225,000 trained volunteers in 190 countries. [1]
Accord to Money Magazine (1996), it is, "the largest evangelical organisation in the USA" and "the richest fundamentalist enterprise in the world". [2]
