Christopher Walker "is Director of Studies at Freedom House... As Director of Studies, Walker works with the Executive Director and Director of Research in overseeing a team of senior analysts and researchers in devising overall strategy for and in the production of Freedom House’s analytical publications, including Countries at the Crossroads: A Survey of Democratic Governance; Nations in Transit: Democratization in East Central Europe and Eurasia; Freedom of the Press: a Global Survey of Media Independence; and Freedom in the World: The Annual Survey of Political Rights and Civil Liberties.
