Congresspedia was for three years a project of the Center for Media and Democracy funded by the Sunlight Foundation. It was launched in April, 2006. It existed as an edited "portal" on SourceWatch. In 2009 the project became part of OpenCongress.org/wiki.

SourceWatch continues to feature other edited portals for many topics on the tobacco industry, The Real Economy, the coal industry, climate change, Corporate "rights", front groups, global corporations, the nuclear power industry and more. (See the "Hot Topics" column at the left of this page for an updated list.)

You can visit OpenCongress at OpenCongress.org/wiki. If you'd like more information, contact the OpenCongress staff at info@opencongress.org.
