HEN-RY was a northern European Smokers Rights Group and a tobacco industry front group for generating "grassroots" lobbying. The creation of HENY-RY was part of a strategy devised by Philip Morris and the large PR firm Burson Marsteller circa 1989 to create a string of Nordic smokers rights groups throughout northern Europe to lobby in the company's favor on tobacco issues.[1]
