Heidi Sinclair

Heidi Sinclair was appointed as the director of communications for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Sinclair starts in the position in September 2007. [1]

"Sinclair is currently president and CEO of Burson-Marsteller Europe, responsible for 18 company-owned operations and 34 affiliate operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, she was chair of its Global Technology practice. Sinclair also served as managing director of International Creative Management's New Media and Corporate Division and in senior executive positions for Borland and Lotus Development Corporation," stated the media release announcing her appointment to the Gates Foundation. [2]

A Burson-Marsteller profile states that she had initially joined the company "in 1994 as a Senior Vice President in the Los Angeles office." It also noted that in addition to her experience with at Borland and Lotus Development Corporation she had been the "head of the technology groups at Hill & Knowlton, Ketchum Communications and Regis McKenna."
