Laura D'Andrea Tyson

Dr. Laura D'Andrea Tyson, a member of the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations, is "Dean of the London Business School. Previously she was BankAmerica Dean of the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earlier held the University's Class of 1939 Chair in economics and was director of its Institute of International Studies. She was the national economic adviser to President William Jefferson Clinton and head of the National Economic Council, she served on the president's National Security and Domestic Policy Councils, and was the first woman to hold the post of chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. She has also been research director of the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy. She has written extensively on competitiveness and trade, including Who's Bashing Whom? Trade Conflict in High Technology Industries. She is based in London."[1]

"Dr. Tyson has been a director of AT&T since October 1999. She served as a director of Ameritech Corporation from 1997 until the company was acquired by AT&T in 1999. She is a member of the Corporate Development Committee and the Finance/Pension Committee. Dr. Tyson is a director of Eastman Kodak Company and Morgan Stanley."
