Lucy Law Webster is First Vice Chair of the Council of the World Federalist Movement, "a Steering Committee member of the World Federalist Institute, President of the NY Tri-State Chapter of Citizens for Global Solutions, Board Secretary of Economists for Peace and Security and Executive Director of the Center for War/Peace Studies. Her 14 years work in the UN system included positions in UNICEF, UNDP, and work in the UN Secretariat in Human Rights and in the UN Department of Public Information and 7 years as a Political Affairs Officer working on disarmament issues where she drafted speeches, served as Secretary of various committees and as Editor of two UN publications. Prior to her work in the United Nations, she worked in economic and public opinion research based in London, England and conducted sample surveys worldwide. Her formal education includes a BA in Political Science, an MSc degree in International Relations and an MA in Global Political Economy and Finance." [1]
