Lynn Walker Huntley "is president of the Southern Education Foundation, a public charity promoting equity and excellence in education in the American South. She previously directed its Comparative Human Relations Initiative, examining the consequences of inequality in Brazil, South Africa and the United States, and was director of the rights and social justice program at the Ford Foundation. Lynn attended Fisk University and received her A.B. in Sociology from Barnard College. She received her law degree from Columbia University, where she was the first African-American woman to become a member of The Law Review. Lynn joined CARE's Board in 2001 and has served on its program and policy, diversity, search, management and audit and nominating committees and the girls' education subcommittee.“ [1]
