MB Kolubara plc is a coal-mining subsidiary of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), Serbia's state-run power utility.
MB Kolubara operates four coal mines -- the Polje B mine, the Polje D mine, the Tamnava Istok mine and the Tamnava Zapad mine.[1] These produce approximately three-quarters of the lignite in Serbia and supply EPS's TPP Kolubara Power Plant, TPP Nikola Tesla Power Plant and the TPP Morava Power Plant.[2]
EPS has another coal mining subsidiary, OPM Kostolac, which supplies coal for the TPP Kostolac Power Plant.[3]
