Patrick J. Michaels (±1942- ), also known as Pat Michaels, is a global warming skeptic who is the Editor of the World Climate Report, a blog published by a PR and consultancy firm he founded in 1994, New Hope Environmental Services.

In an affidavit in a Vermont court case in 2007, Michaels stated that he had three sources of income - a retirement package from the University of Virgina where he worked until 2007, income from New Hope Environmental Services and "modest speaking fees."[1]

A 2007 curriculum vitae detailed an extensive list of speaking engagements that Michaels had undertaken between 1980 and 2007. Many of these were for energy companies, think tanks and advocacy groups and industry lobby groups. The full list is:[2]
