In October 2010 Robert Bensh was the proposed CEO of Regal Petroleum, and was "currently the Chairman of Northcote Energy, a privately held oil & gas company with assets in Oklahoma, USA. He is also an advisor/director of KUB-GAS, an independent oil and gas company with operations in Ukraine. Mr Bensh has been a sole advisor to the group in their sale to Kulczyk Oil and then retained as a director. He is also a chairman of Condor Exploration, a privately held oil and gas company with oil and gas operations in Colombia.

"Mr Bensh’s experience in Ukraine goes back to 2000. He was the CEO and Chairman of AIM listed, London and Kyiv based oil and gas company with operations in Ukraine which was sold to Kuwait Energy for $72 million, two years after listing business in London for $28 million.

"Previous positions include: Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bellwether Exploration, a NASDAQ listed business, with oil and gas operations in the US Gulf Coast. Director, Investor Relations and Capital Markets at Torch Energy Advisors Inc.

"Robert Bensh has also been a special agent at Drug Enforcement Administration in USA and prior to that at US Army Special Operations NCO - 18F, he also served in 3rd Ranger Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta Education." [1]

"Robert Bensh is President and CEO of Cardinal Resources; he joined the firm in February 2004. From 2000 until 2004, he was Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Carpatsky Petroleum Inc. In the late 1990s, Mr. Bensh held various senior corporate positions in several US and UK energy companies; in the early 1990s, he was employed by the US Department of Defense and the US Department of Justice.
