Sean Parnell was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the At-large Congressional District (map) of Alaska. He was challenging incumbent Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) for the Republican nomination, but lost a primary to Young on August 26, 2008.[1]
