In 1986: "Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moyers of New York and Garden City, L.I., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Suzanne Moyers, to John W. Passacantando, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Passacantando of Whippany, N.J. An August wedding is planned.
"Miss Moyers, an elementary-school teacher in Pompton Plains, N.J., graduated from Wake Forest University, as did her fiance, and from Columbia University with a Master of Arts degree in education.
"Her father is the senior news analyst and correspondent for CBS News. Her mother, Judith Davidson Moyers, is vice chairman of the board of trustees of the State University of New York and a director of the Ogden Corporation and of Paine Webber mutual funds." [1]
