"The Daily Kos (rhymes with rose, based on Moulitsas' old army nickname) is far and away the most popular blog on the Internet: Kos averages over 400,000 page views a day. By comparison, the second most popular blog, right leaning law professor Glenn Reynolds's Instapundit (web), averages barely 200,000 page views a day," Dean Barnett wrote February 2, 2005, in The Weekly Standard.

"Kos outwardly and unambiguously defines his role differently" and "has proudly assumed the task of getting Democrats elected and never denies that he is an activist, not an objective commentator. He has built the Daily Kos community to further that activism with painstaking care. And while Kos is certainly not the finest writer in the blogosphere, he is amongst its shrewdest operators. And by almost any measure, he is the most successful blogger in the business," Barnett wrote.

  • "Three videos addressing these questions have been viewed over six thousand times at YouTube. [1]
the videos don't really add much that is not available elsewhere.--Bob Burton 05:24, 16 March 2009 (EDT)

I also condensed a fair amount of the remainder and there was some of the material that was more about the blog that has been tracking Zuninga than Zuninga himself - and as it is a page about him we are better off with just the essentials.--Bob Burton 00:11, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

charges of racism

I don't find these charges of racism compelling, fair or well documented. This material sounds like it's from someone who doesn't like Markos trying to smear him any way they can. So unless more compelling evidence can be shown of either Markos being racist or of significant charges of racism being brought against him, this is inappropriate for inclusion in the article. -- Diane Farsetta 15:34, 18 September 2009 (EDT)

Some people assert that Markos Moulitsas cannot be prejudiced against Latinos because he is Latino himself. However, in the past Moulitsas stated in writing for is college newspaper that as concerns identifiable minorities, including Latinos, who suffer discrimination, Moulitsas' attitude is one of " detached selfishness", Truth About Kos
There is no evidence in the archives of his student newspaper that Markos Moulitsas advocated for Latinos as a group while he was a student at Northern Illinois University.
