Coal power station projects
Current coal projects
In addition to owning two gas-fired power stations, one near Surat and the other at Vatva in Ahmedabad, Torrent Power owns and operates a 400 megawatt (MW) coal power station at Sabarmati, Ahmedabad.[2]
Proposed coal projects
Torrent and the Gujarat Power Corporation are proposing to build the Pipavav power station, a 2000 megawatt coal-fired project in Gujarat.
