A-K Associates was a Latin-American-based lobby firm which had offices in Sacramento and Washington DC. Gene Reyes was a key staff member and he was used by the Tobacco Institute to lobby Hispanic people and their organisations -- in particular, LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens).
