Accuracy in Academia (AIA) is a Washington DC-based conservative think tank focused on American universities. It researches and attacks left-wing activities on campuses and promotes right-wing activities on campuses. AIA was founded in 1985 by Reed Irvine as an outgrowth of Accuracy in Media.

Among its primary areas of concern are: "the use of classroom and/or university resources to indoctrinate students, discrimination against students, faculty or administrators based on political or academic beliefs, and campus violations of free speech." All of these translate to means of attacking supposedly "Leftist" professors and campus organizations. Accuracy in Academia is closely affiliated with the campaign for intellectual diversity and academic freedom.

AIA operates a sister website, Campus Report Online, which acts as AIA's "online news service in which we document and publicize political bias in education."[1]

Malcolm A. Kline is executive director. Daniel J. Flynn was executive director from 1997 to 2003.[2]
