Biographical Details

Alastair H. Fitter is Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Professor of Ecology at the University of York.

"I am Director of the UK Population Biology Network, a consortium of UK Universities and Research Institutes funded by NERC and English Nature. UKPopNet aims to build bridges from population biology to other ecological and socio-economic researchers. It is currently planning its new research programme, including a large-scale upland manipulation experiment." [1]
