The Atlantic Treaty Association is an atlanticist organisation consisting of the Atlantic Councils of NATO members and Partnership for Peace countries.

ATA meets annually in conference. It has four committees - Economic, Education and Information, Military, and Political.

The association elects a President on an annual basis for a maximum of three years. The current President is Ambassador Robert Hunter, Senior Advisor, the RAND Corporation, Washington, DC. The President is assisted by a number of Vice Presidents and a Secretary General. The current Secretary General is Troels Froling, who is also Secretary General of the Danish Atlantic Treaty Association. [1]
