Australian Paper "is the only paper manufacturing operation in the PaperlinX Group". [1]

In 2005 Friends of the Earth (Melbourne) noted that "PaperlinX propose to rebuild bleached pulp facility at Maryvale. PaperlinX's logging of native forest to increase by almost 50% (200,000 m3) to meet new demand. 22,800 ha gross hardwood plantations needed to meet new demand for pulp facility. New plantations won't be ready until 2019." [2]

Australian Paper run the Maryvale Mill which "is the largest pulp and paper-making complex in Australia, with three pulp mills, five paper-making machines and a waste paper processing plant." [3] This Mill is linked to Amcor's controversial anti-environmental "A-Team". (see Amcor page for further details).
